A Day In the Life of Laura Cooper

For someone who has never been on a mission trip before, everything is going quite well for me. After a well balanced breakfast (froot loops for me) we headed off to our different places to start our "Rainbow Expresses." Now I'm not sure about the other groups, but I was pretty pleased with how everything went down during our time together with the kids. Now as the "song leader," I thought I would be forced to humiliatingly display my not-so-wonderful voice, but I was very pleased to find out that I have some very wonderful group members that sing incredibly loud. Praise the Lord.
As for other matters, I realized that I underestimated how much the kids would affect me. When you are around them you are really happy to see the kids having fun but you are also almost heart-broken to see how much of them live and how much of them live without. Overall, I am really excited to see what will happen this week in the kids' lives, and it's such a blessing to be a part of it.

Wow from the pictures it looks like things are going well. That brings back a lot of memories from last year. I just want ya'll to know you are being prayed for and I am excited to hear about what all God does this week in and through all of ya'll. God bless.

The pictures look great. We are praying for the wonderful work you all are doing with these children. Aren't they just adorable? Looks like they are having fun! Granny and Papaw are praying too.
