Well, our fourth day is coming to a close. God is so good, and although we know that each and every day it is times like this that we see it so clearly. The work that is done at Mission Arlington is absolutely incredible and not something you can explain with words but it is so obvious that it is the work of the Lord and I feel so lucky to have been a part. As I am sure most of you have already heard, the weather has been a little wet. When we turn on the weather in the morning, we have considered it a blessing when the rain chances are down to just 60%, but God has done GREAT things in the rain. I think the first day most of us expected that if it rained we would just stay inside and help out in the clothes closet or something. At Mission Arlington, if you promised the kids you would be there, you're there, rain or shine. Guess what? We didn't melt, instead we were blessed. Some of us had prayer walks, and some of us were greeted with little WET smiling faces, but all of us new that God was there with us.
As a parent I am so proud of our kids and you all should be too. They have shared the word, played countless games, and given lots of hugs. These children love our kids, and they love them because our kids showed them love first.
